The Surf Birdz are a high-energy surf and classic rock cover band based in sunny San Diego, California. Having played more than 200 shows across San Diego County, the band is known for their dynamic live performances and crowd-pleasing set lists, delivering everything from timeless surf classics to iconic rock anthems that keep audiences engaged from the first note to the last.
All five members contribute vocals, giving the group the flexibility to cover material that requires multiple and unique vocal parts. Carly Hines adds a distinctive touch playing flute on songs where it belongs, allowing the band to authentically perform music few others can. Travis Gooden delivers soaring guitar solos and riffs that define both the surf and rock edge of the band’s sound. Jackson Hines brings depth on keyboards with piano, organ, and synth textures.
